After 460 long days of a pandemic-related closure, Upstate Films is thrilled to announce its return to the big screen in Rhinebeck! Beginning Friday, June 18, we’ll present a slate of powerful, inspiring new films, including IN THE HEIGHTS, from Lin-Manuel Miranda, the surprising STREET GANG, the behind-the-scenes story of Sesame Street, the Oscar-winning NOMADLAND and MINARI and the thrilling SUMMER OF SOUL, about a legendary Harlem music festival.
We have been carefully preparing our safety measures, which include an upgraded HVAC system, touchless ticketing and a reconfigured lobby. We have left additional time for theater cleaning after each show.
Ticketing and reserved seating will be available via our new box office system, which ensures socially distanced practices. By New York State mandate, all non-vaccinated patrons are required to wear masks when inside. Vaccinated patrons can choose whether to wear a mask. We will follow commonsense measures to ensure the cleanliness of our spaces and the safety of our patrons.
We will be open Friday-Sunday, with limited showtimes, for our first two weeks, June 18-20 and June 25-27, and expect to expand our hours as demand necessitates.
