The Boy and the Heron

This deep and visually complex Studio Ghibli film is about a young boy who, while yearning for his dead mother, develops a relationship with a heron. The heron guides the boy to a world shared by both the living and the dead. Rumored to be Hayao Miyazaki’s final film, and perhaps his finest.
