After radiation from a fallen satellite causes the recently dead to rise from their graves, zombies come to feast on the living. Several people barricade themselves inside a rural house in an attempt to survive the night. Outside are hordes of relentless, shambling zombies who can only be killed by a blow to the head. This classic black and white horror film will be shown non-traditionally without sound and with subtitles to create the atmosphere of silent film with live musical accompaniment.
The Andrew Alden Ensemble, comprised of electric guitar, drum set, synthesizer, piano, violin and viola, last visited with NOSFERATU and entertained us with their fascinating fusion of rock music and contemporary classical composition.
