Producer/musician Sam Cohen collaborates with Kevin Morby, Danger Mouse and Karen O among others, and has released three well-regarded solo records. As Slow Fawn, he teams up with two iconic multi-instrumentalists, Cochemea and Stuart Bogie, to conjure a fantastical blend of delicate songs, cosmic jazz, and minimal electronica.The band’s live show is augmented by jaw-dropping projections from visual artist and light show veteran Alyson Denny. With a post-screening DJ set by Malik Abdul-Rahmaan

Sam Cohen – Sam Cohen is a musical artist and producer based in Accord, New York. He founded the bands Apollo Sunshine and Yellowbirds, and has released several solo albums. As a producer, Cohen has worked with Kevin Morby, Danger Mouse, and many more. He’s lent his guitar playing to Bob Weir and Norah Jones, among others. With Slow Fawn, he explores new  collaborations, broadening the instrumental spaces and pushing through the boundaries of song altogether, creating music that is both ethereal and memorable. 


Cochemea– Cochemea Gastelum is a multi-instrumentalist and composer/arranger based in Stone Ridge, NY. He has toured and recorded with diverse and notable acts including Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Kevin Morby, Run The Jewels, Jon Batiste, and many others. His acclaimed solo albums connect ancestry, memory, and improvisation to build a sonic world of emotional textures and rhythmic possibilities, forging his own joyous, contemplative signature sound.

Stuart Bogie– Stuart Douglas Bogie hails from Evanston, Illinois where he learned to play clarinet in his school band program. He has studied music with Gary Onstad, Debra Chodacki, and theorist/composer William Allaudin Mathieu. In October of 2023 he released an album of music for drones and solo clarinet entitled Morningside, co-written and produced by James Murphy of LCD Sound System. He performs and records regularly on clarinets, saxophone, flute and various other things. He has worked with hundreds of artists over his 30 year career, including Antibalas, Iron and Wine, TV on the Radio, Kronos Quartet, Bill T Jones, Jill Magid, PILOBOLUS, Meshelle Ndegeocello, Matana Roberts, Colin Stetson, Logic, and Arcade Fire. He is currently a member of Joe Russo’s Selcouth Quartet and active in the studio composing music for film and stage.

Alyson Denny – Alyson Denny manipulates light to make abstract photographs and moving images. Her moving images were recently featured on the largest outdoor screen in the Southeast as part of the inaugural screening of OffTheWall@725Ponce, a new showcase for film and video art from around the world. Her still photography has been widely exhibited, and has been reviewed in the New Yorker and the New York Times. As a member of the Joshua Light Show, she has performed abstract visuals with an eclectic group of musicians including Terry Riley, Lou Reed, John Zorn, MGMT, and Oneohtrix Point Never.


DJ – Malik Abdul-Rahmaan – A world traveler, Malik Abdul-Rahmaan immerses himself in music from around the globe. His project Field Research captures sounds of the country, from Bollywood to Southeast Asian funk. He has worked with an impressive roster, including heavyweights like Ghostface Killah and progressive hip-hop label Paxico Records.
