Dir. Grace Barry, USA, 2026, 78 min.
While Grace Barry’s documentary Our Dark Horse deals with the difficult subject of animal abuse, the film’s hero, local horse sanctuary owner Susan Kayne, will restore some of your faith in humanity. Her love of horses and lifelong commitment to saving them from the slaughter pipeline makes for an inspiring film. – Adam Schartof
