Join us for a chance to walk the red carpet, eat great food, play trivia, win prizes, and fundraise for a good cause at this year’s Academy Awards Party in Rhinebeck! As always, this event is a benefit. This year, proceeds will be donated to The Hudson Valley Oral History Project.
On Sunday February 24th, we’re excited to watch the show and celebrate the award winners with all of you!
The scoop on this year’s festivities:
Potluck: Fruit & cheese has been generously donated by Adams Fairacre Farms. Please bring a dish to share. The back room will be dedicated to all of the snacks it can hold.
The Program: Doors open at 6:30pm. Watch the televised Red Carpet and participate in Upstate’s own home-spun version, to be screened just before the awards show begins. The Awards Program starts at 8:00. This year, our program will feature two fabulous MCs: John Istona and Nathaniel Lewis!
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for Best Fancy Attire, Best Pajamas, Best Dressed-Like-Your-Favorite-Movie-From-2018, and the highest number of correct guesses on your 2019 Academy Award winners ballot.
Fundraise! As always, this event is a benefit. Net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Hudson Valley Oral History Project.
Event tickets will become available by February 1st at the Rhinebeck box office for $15. Price includes admission to the fundraiser and an Academy Award Winners ballot, which enters you in our contest to win prizes for your guesses about this year’s winners.
