Music For Mushrooms

Musician East Forest, a Ram Dass collaborator, is a shamanistic figure in the psychedelic movement, on a healing mission to pair music with psychedelics. Music for Mushrooms is a narrative documentary highlighting his bold experiments. The film captures East Forest as he performs ceremonial concerts where participants confront their pain and move to find their own true north.  Weaving together conversations with experts such as Xochitl Ashe, Hanifo Nayo Washington, Spring Washam, Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris – the film explores first-hand experiences, wisdom traditions, and evidence of how these timeless tools impact the human psyche and nervous system.
