Montano sings seven standards in collaboration with sonic distress signals: fire trucks, ambulances, fire alarms and visuals that document every current “ disaster”….floods, fires, war, food scarcity and police torture. Verbal prompts that remind the viewer that the universe is in chaos run across the bottom of the screen. But perhaps hope is possible.
