Chuck (Patton Oswalt) wants desperately to reconnect with his troubled son Franklin (James Morosini). Blocked on social media, Chuck impersonates a waitress online and starts checking in with Franklin. But things begin to spiral when Franklin falls for this imaginary girl (Claudia Sulewski). Morosini bases his first film, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW, on his own life story. (U.S., 2022, 90m)
