Megan Stalter stars in this enthralling comedy with a streak of sorrow as a musician who puts her messy but emergent career on hold to win back her girlfriend. With a script and performance that won the hearts of SXSW, this story adds tender depth to a character study of destruction and love. (dir. Hannah Pearl Utt, U.S., 2024, 92m)

It’s Stalter’s brazen conviction that really sells the film. Carried on the shoulders of Cora’s leopard print, faux fur coat, Cora Bora is a taut indie that straddles funny and forlorn with unexpected depth.”  —The Daily Beast
